DIY Anti-Inflammatory Face Mask for glowing skin in the Summer
Welcome to the Spekta Self-Care Fest. And today we're showing some love to the largest organ of our bodies... Skin! It’s never too late to start treating your skin with the goodness of natural ingredients. Grab this opportunity of being home and experiment with different ingredients that are easily available in your pantry.
Today we’ll be making a DIY ANTI-INFLAMMATORY OATMEAL FACE MASK (to sooth irritated skin). It helps in getting soft, smooth, glowing skin & its super easy to make, all we need is 3 ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Oatmeal powder
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 tbsp milk
- Combine all the 3 ingredients together make a thick paste and apply generously on your face and neck.
- Leave it on for 15 - 20 minutes or until it dries then wash it off by gently massaging it on your face.
- Pat dry and say hello to a sunny, bright face.
MULTIPLE BENEFITS OF THIS DIY MASK:
OATMEAL POWDER- Oatmeal is suitable for all skin types, and even for the most sensitive skin because of its anti-inflammatory properties. It soothes irritation and treats inflammations.
HONEY- Honey is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a godly glow. It is naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention. Full of antioxidants, it is great to use regularly to slow down signs of aging.
MILK- Raw milk is one of the richest sources of moisturizing ingredients. It will nourish skin cells from deep within and keep skin moisturized all day. If you've got acne-prone skin, it will gently exfoliate and gradually cure your acne.
PS- For our vegan readers, cow's milk can be substituted with almond or coconut milk. Both are super beneficial for the skin and work perfectly well in this recipe.
PPS- It’s Important to patch test first with any DIY face mask! So do that and then try it on your face.
